アーティストプロフィール: Bao Pham
Bao Phamは、アメリカ在住のフリーのイラストレーター。
ベトナムのパンランで生まれた。11歳のときにアメリカへ移住。アメリカのテレビ番組、特に日本のアニメにかなり慣れ親しんだことがイラストを描き始めるきっかけとなった。アイオワ洲大学で絵画を専攻。
大学時代、ジョン・シンガー・サージェントに影響を受
けたのが現在の彼の作風の基となった。現在は伝統的な手法とデジタルな方法を用いてファンタジー系書籍やデジタル系雑誌のワークショップのイラストを手掛けている。趣味においては、伝統的な画法で作品を作る事が多い。

Artist bio: Bao Pham
Bao Pham is a freelance Illustrator based in the U.S. He was born in Phan Rang, Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. when he was 11 years old. What followed was a lot of exposure to American TV and especially to Japanese Anime, which started his adventure in illustration. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a BFA in Painting. During that period, he was exposed to the works of John Singer Sargent, whose work became a guide for developing his techniques.
He now works with traditional and digital media, illustrating fantasy books and digital magazine workshops. Bao completes more traditional works in his personal time.
