1987年埼玉県生まれ。　アーティスト。ポップな作風
を基調としながら、入念なリサーチを重ね、社会問題、人間の欲望、環境問題、神話などをテーマに作品を制作
。
Artist Bio: Kota Hirakawa
Kota Hirakawa is an award-winning artist born in Japan’s Saitama prefecture in 1987. His work blends pop styling with his own elaborate research on social themes such as human desire, environmental degradation and modern mythology. He has participated in numerous solo exhibitions throughout Japan since 2009, including “Ana Meets Arts” at Haneda Airport Lounge in Tokyo in 2010. Kota has also shown his work in many group exhibitions since 2006, including the “Morality 2” show at the Art Center Ongoing in Tokyo, “Negapop” at the Shinwa Art Museum in Tokyo, and The 8th Gunma Biennale for Young Artists at the Museum of Modern Art, Gunma.
